    • GPON supplies a dynamic bandwidth-signal distribution capable of delivering the same information from a single fiber to 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64 endpoints. Through our advanced bandwidth-allocation tool, we are able to perform detailed client-bandwidth-needs analysis, thereby providing an adequate and scalable throughput per endpoint.
  • SPACE, WEIGHT, AND POWER SAVINGS
    • Since GPON replaces copper as a low-power signal-distribution transport, it eliminates the space required to house workgroup switches in the riser closets of the building. In fact, removing the switches effectively reduces or eliminates altogether the need for the riser closet. Plus, replacing copper cables with fiber also reduces literally tons of weight from the facility’s structure. And because GPON does not require power to operate switches or the energy-draining air conditioning to keep them within their operating temperature, it also achieves great power savings.
